Our Vision Art Program provides students with more opportunities to examine art ideas and learn about more art content. Lines of thinking are enhanced by the teacher's material and methods suggestions while art history can be juxtaposed with student's works of art. Children are able to collaborate on projects in the NPE Art Room under my supervision and guidance. When individuals are able to pursue lines of thought in settings that support student autonomy,
students practice the same
kinds of thinking skills they will utilizie when they become
independent of the school setting. In this learning environment, a
premium is placed on making choices, practicing idea generation and making ideas come to
fruition in real contexts.
